Learning how to Blog
When I decided that I wanted to start to share my thoughts on money and finances I didn’t anticipate the amount of work needed to get a Blog up and running. I am sure that many people reading this would roll their eyes as I am sure that it is much easier to do this type of work today than it has been in the past. It’s more that the mechanics of a Blog wasn’t my primary interest. I can tell you that after I get the hang of it however, I can see how it could be. There has always been a Data Analyst living deep inside of me and I can see how with the many tools available that you could become addicted to the marketing side of the Blog ‘business’. Hopefully I can transition from the mechanical aspect to the Data Analyst aspect of it faster than anticipated.
As far as the content of One Dad, I pledge that I will be honest, write from my heart, share my failures and successes with you. I will share my rational side and my irrational side with you as well. I am not an extreme saver by any measure – I am secretly worried as I share my life with you that many will feel that I spend too much – but then again I am not really worried about that – otherwise I wouldn’t be planning on sharing it. The plan is to not share this website with anyone I know (besides Mrs. One Dad) so I can be as open and honest with you as I can.
Well – must get back to the plumbing
